Produced and Directed by Fred Tepper
As a ten year veteran of the visual effects business, Fred Tepper has had the honor of working on such award-winning projects as, NBC/Amblin Entertainment’s seaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Voyager (Emmy winner for Best Visual Effects), Kevin Smith’s Dogma, and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (Oscar nominee for Best Animated Feature), amongst dozens of others.  He’s best known for his work on James Cameron’s Titanic though.  For that Oscar winner (including Best Visual Effects) he led the team responsible for creating and implementing the digital version of that famous ship.  This “digital ship” was used throughout the production, starting with pre-visualization, and all the way up to over fifty shots in the finished film, most notably in the sinking scenes.

Fred was a co-founder of Station X Studios, a high-end visual effects company, and is currently part of  pmG Worldwide, a software company whose revolutionary animation/FX program, messiah:studio, has won nearly a dozen industry awards and has been used in countless movies (such as X-Men), TV series (such as Star Trek:Enterprise), commercials (M&M’s), and music videos (such as the multi-award-winning Gorillaz videos).  It was also used exclusively for all character animation in the Oscar-nominated feature film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, from Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Studios.

Produced and Screenplay by Alain Matz
Working from a story by Fred Tepper, Tom Zimmerman and Alain himself, Alain Matz has crafted a story with broad spectrum of elements.  There’s drama, terror, action, adventure, and even a welcome sprinkling of comedy.  Although a genre film, Primeval avoids many of the clichés that bring so many of these films down.  Having worked with Fred and Tom before, Alain was able to dive right in and create a screenplay that took the genre to places it hasn’t gone before.  And his previous experience as a writer allowed him fine tune the story and characters as the project grew.  Primeval is Alain’s first produced feature, but he already has several other screenplays optioned.  He is currently the Head Writer for the Cartoon Network’s new flagship series, Megas XLR, which has been picked up for three full seasons.

Produced by Marte Post
Marte is a true Hollywood veteran with a wide variety of jobs and projects to her credit.  She’s been on both sides of the camera and that gives her an edge that few producers have.  In front of the camera she can be seen in guest appearances on The Waltons, Fame, Lou Grant, The Young and the Restless, and seaQuest DSV.  Her behind-the-scenes credits include such television shows as Brooklyn Bridge, seaQuest DSV, Chicago Hope, and Judging Amy.  For Primeval her experience was crucial in countless ways.  For example, her acting background was invaluable during the casting process, both in terms of selecting actors to audition, and in terms of managing the auditions themselves.  She was also responsible for bringing several key players onto the film.  During production, she helped keep everything running smoothly, even stepping in to help the camera team when needed.

Music Composed and Conducted By William T. Stromberg
William T. Stromberg has been composing and conducting music for film and television for over fourteen years.  In addition to his composing skills, he’s a sought-after conductor, having conducted such scores as Kate and Leopold, Legally Blonde, Nurse Betty, and more.  And as if that’s not enough, he is one of the world’s foremost conductors of classic film scores, having released a series of over twelve CD’s, wonderfully recorded with full symphony orchestra in digital quality.  His re-recording of Max Steiner’s King Kong score is a particular stand-out and appeared on many “Best-of-Year” lists when it was released in 1998.  Primeval marks William’s seventeenth motion picture score.  His challenge was to create a score that worked in subtle ways to bind the film together and heighten its drama, action, and horror without becoming overbearing and obvious.  That’s not an easy task, by any means, but he was able to pull it off without a hitch.  Most recently, William has completed work as part of the music team on Columbia Pictures’ I Spy, starring Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy.  He also composed the music for the hit Sci-Fi Channel original film Bugs.  His latest work, with his writing partner John Morgan, is Starship Troopers 2.
